Our Membership Program
The Upstate Artists Guild is dedicated to pooling the community's artistic resources in order to provide a central location for the arts. In addition, our gallery hopes to provide a venue for new and upcoming artists as well as veterans from the Capital Region. To do this we need your help. We believe that our membership program is both ambitious and rewarding and hope that you are able to donate some of your time and creativity in making the Guild something truly remarkable.

Our membership plan is geared towards you -- the artists, the volunteers, and the supporters -- who believe in the UAG's mission. Our membership program and the benefits it lends have been designed to best serve our members, as well as the Guild itself. If, however, you have any questions or suggestions concerning the membership program, please do not hesitate to email us.

The Guild has two main levels of membership — Members and Associate Members — as well as an Angel level reserved for our major benefactors. If you are interested in simply making a donation without becoming a member, or in making an additional monetary donation beyond the dues requirement, please either use the link at the side of this page or send us an email.

A Developing Resource
The UAG is, in large part, funded by its members. The costs of the UAG are many and varied: from paying the rent, to prepping the Gallery, to building the web site currently in front of you. The resources our members provide -- physically, monetarily, and, of course, artistically -- is what keeps the Guild going.

Through our monthly meetings we encourage our members to share their opinions on the Guild's focus and help set priorities for our budget. Member dues go directly towards projects which benefit the members themselves as well as the community. Future projects may very well include improved lighting in the gallery for a more professional and enjoyable presentation of the artwork, guest speakers and workshop presenters, and a wider variety of classes offered through the UAG. Please take some time to help us in our mission to Exhibit, Teach, and Learn.

Our Member Benefits

	UAG Member/Angel	UAG Associate Member
Member Dues	$10/month ($120/year) or $500+/year for Angels Membership fees due at the Members meeting on the first Monday of every month. Members will be dropped from published roster when their dues become three months past due.	$35/year Dues for Associate Members are payable each year, on the first of the month, for the yearly anniversary of joining.
Gallery Benefits	UAG Members will receive 10% off select classes. UAG Members will have the opportunity to exhibit work at the Gallery in the annual Members Show. UAG Members receive a discount on certain jury fees.	UAG Associate Members will have the opportunity to exhibit work at the Gallery in the annual Members Show. UAG Associate Members receive a discount on certain jury fees.
Additional Benefits	UAG Members receive 10% off all art work purchased from the Gallery. UAG Members are listed in our Members roster. UAG Members may have their website posted on UpstateArtistsGuild.org. UAG Members receive a personalized online gallery, hosted by the Guild, which contains an artist portrait, bio, and samples of work which is available for public viewing. UAG Members may receive a personalized email account, <Artist's Name>@uagmembers.org. UAG Members automatically receive the UAG Newsletter and special invitations to pre-opening events at the Gallery.	UAG Associate Members receive 10% off all art work purchased from the Gallery. UAG Associate Members are listed in our Members roster. UAG Associate Members may have their website posted on UpstateArtistsGuild.org.
